Since the ancient period the human excellence taken him far ahead of rest of the animal kingdom by virtue of his enhanced capabilities through human resources development. Human Being, though constitute a part of animal kingdom, he deviated from rest of them by virtue of thinking power. However, as the civilization spread across the world the human excellence was not even. As of today, the Western world i.e. developed countries have registered highest growth in terms of social and economic indicators. On the other hand, the developing and under-developed countries, especially those in the oriental coast, have registered lesser growth in terms of social and –economic development parameters. As often quoted in the realm of science every individual on the earth possess same capabilities in terms of thinking and action. However, the capacity of human brain to excel in prevailing circumstances depends on a process of acquiring and shaping skills. These skills have always been derived through education and also experience. Prehistoric and historic period of human existence refine the human thinking and pave way for excellence.
Thus, education and concern learning from experience has been the important aspect in human life. In the context of India, role of education in the process of development is emphasized since independence. On the other hand, the progress of education registered in India has been quite tardy and far beyond the goals set foe. Although, the field of higher education has registered tremendous growth, yet the arena of school, secondary and higher level of education has always been facing several lacunae. The foundation of any modern country depends on its human resources. India, by having largest number of illiterates in the world, speaks its position in the contemporary world. Though tremendous emphasis was laid on promoting education, sector is not on the expected lines due to social and economic issues ploughing the rural India. The urban India by virtue of its infrastructural advantage has made huge strides in terms of education, but the rural India has been lagging far behind in this regard. In the demographic sector it may be observed that nearly 2/3rds of Indian population inhabit rural India. In other words the progress of education is quite bleak among majority of our population. This in context, a few sensitized individuals felt that an auspicious human case is necessary to promote education in rural area. This gave birth to WALYS Life Skills International Private Limited in all over India.
